Dr. Sadeghi
Dr. Pegah Sadeghi grew up in Arlington, Virginia, where her love of animals started at a young age. After graduating from George Mason University in 2012 with a degree in Biology, she worked as a veterinary receptionist and technician. While working at the Humane Rescue Alliance in Washington, D.C., she fell in love with the human–animal bond and knew she wanted to dedicate her life to caring for pets and the people who love them.
Dr. Sadeghi earned her DVM from St. George’s University in Grenada and completed her clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, gold-standard care for every patient and prides herself on being a thoughtful, attentive listener who partners with pet parents to make the best decisions for their furry family members. She is also Fear Free Certified, which means she is specially trained to reduce fear, stress, and anxiety for pets during their visits.
During her free time, Dr. Sadeghi loves going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with her island cat, Pico de Gato, who keeps her on her toes.
